A Singapore cloud accounting platform for registered businesses

Flentique was built for companies registered in Singapore, with the compliance workflows local businesses actually file: GST returns, Form C-S, InvoiceNow e-invoicing and IRAS seamless filing.

Why we started

Why Singapore-specific matters

Most accounting software is designed for a generic market and then localised as an afterthought. We took the opposite approach. Singapore's filing requirements are the starting point, and the bookkeeping features are built around them.

That matters because Singapore's tax and corporate framework has details general-purpose tools handle awkwardly. The GST treatment of zero-rated exports is not the same as a domestic supply. CorpPass is the authentication model IRAS and ACRA actually accept, not an optional add-on. Form C-S has filing thresholds that decide whether a small company files the short form or the full return. InvoiceNow runs on the Peppol network, and a submission that is not structured correctly does not clear.

Each of these has a correct way to be handled and a workaround way. Flentique implements the correct way. A GST return prepared from the platform reflects the actual tax position, and a filing transmitted to IRAS carries the right entity and the right access credentials.

Native to the platform

  • GST returns F5 / F7
  • Corporate tax filing Form C-S
  • E-invoicing network InvoiceNow
  • Authentication CorpPass
  • Filing transmission Seamless

The compliance list is short on purpose. These are the obligations a registered Singapore company meets every year, and each one is wired into the platform rather than bolted on.

Who we build for

Small companies, real filing obligations

Our users are Singapore SMEs, from a founder running their own books to a finance team handling multiple entities. We also work with accounting firms and corporate secretaries who need client access without sharing credentials.

The common thread is a registered company with compliance obligations and no appetite for enterprise software overhead. Businesses that need integrated operations and finance eventually move toward ERP platforms. We are built for the stage before that.

Founders, finance teams and the accounting practices that serve them all file against the same Singapore rules. The platform is shaped around that shared obligation, not around company size.

Founder running the books

One person, one set of accounts, a GST return due and no finance hire yet. The chart of accounts has to be sensible on day one without a consultant.

Finance team, multiple entities

Several companies under one hand, each with its own filing calendar. Access is scoped by role so a junior can post without seeing every entity.

Accounting firms and secretaries

Client work without client passwords. Your team gets the access it needs, the client keeps ownership of the account, and the audit trail stays intact.

The team and where we work

Flentique operates from Singapore, and support is provided locally. That matters during filing season, when a question about a GST line item is better answered by someone who knows the rules than by a ticket queue in another time zone.

Local hours

9:00 – 18:00

Monday to Friday, Singapore time

The team includes people who have worked inside Singapore accounting practices, and that shapes the product in ways a feature list does not show. The default chart of accounts follows how local books are actually kept. Reports are arranged the way a preparer reads them before a filing. InvoiceNow and CorpPass sit where the person doing the work expects to find them, rather than behind a settings screen written for another market.

How we relate to the wider software market

Singapore buyers compare a predictable set of options, and it is fair to say what each one is good at. Flentique's position is a platform where the Singapore compliance workflow is native, backed by local contact. We think that is the right trade for a registered SME.

Xero

Strong local messaging around GST, InvoiceNow and IRAS compliance, with a wide partner network across the region.

QuickBooks Online

Widely used, and usually implemented through local partners who configure it for Singapore filing.

Zoho Books

Appeals to businesses already running the wider Zoho stack, where the accounting module joins tools already in use.

FreeAgent

Suits very small operations with simple books and a light compliance load.

Karbon

Serves the accounting firms that support clients on all of the above, with practice management rather than bookkeeping at its centre.

Flentique

GST reporting, InvoiceNow, CorpPass access and IRAS seamless filing are part of the platform from the start, with a Singapore team on the phone when a filing window gets tight.

We are not claiming the others are wrong for every business. A company with complex inventory, manufacturing or multi-country operations may genuinely need the breadth those platforms or an ERP offer. If Flentique does not cover your obligations, we will say so during the setup conversation rather than after you have migrated a year of transactions.

Our approach to compliance features

We implement against what IRAS and ACRA actually require, not against what sounds impressive in a feature list. That work is unglamorous, and it is the reason the software is worth using for a registered company.

Seamless Filing From Software

Returns are transmitted directly to IRAS from the platform. You prepare the return from your own records, review it, and submit it, rather than exporting a file and re-keying the same figures somewhere else.

ASR+ alignment

The software is built to support official tax-related workflows, which means the data structures behind a return match what the filing expects to receive.

GST reporting that reflects the tax position

Zero-rated exports, exempt supplies and standard-rated local sales are treated separately, so the boxes on the return follow from the transactions rather than from a manual adjustment at the end.

Updated when a process changes

Filing formats and thresholds move. When a government process changes, the platform is updated, and the compliance features stay aligned with the current requirement instead of a remembered one.

What we do not do

Flentique is software. Being clear about the boundary keeps the roles clean and the responsibility where it belongs.

We are not your accountant

Your accountant keeps professional judgement and sign-off, and can work inside the platform with scoped access.

We do not sign off on your accounts

The platform produces the records and the prepared return. Approval stays with a qualified professional.

We are not your corporate secretary

ACRA filings and statutory registers remain the responsibility of your appointed secretary or your own team.

What we do

Handle the bookkeeping, keep the records clean, prepare the filing from your own data, and transmit it.

Registration and records

How we handle your data

Company registration details, financial records and CorpPass access are held securely and used only to provide the service. Access is scoped by role, so a bookkeeper can post entries without seeing the entity's full set of accounts, and every transaction change is logged.

Your data stays yours. Records can be exported if you leave the platform, in a format your next system or your accountant can read. The privacy policy sets out what is collected, why it is needed and how long it is kept.

Read the privacy policy

Held in the platform

  • Company registration details

Used to prepare filings under the correct entity.

  • Financial records

The transactions behind every return, exportable on request.

  • CorpPass access

Used only to transmit filings you have approved.

  • Change history

Every transaction edit is logged with the role that made it.

Getting started with us

If you are a Singapore-registered company evaluating accounting software, the fastest path is a setup conversation. Bring your entity details and your filing obligations, and we can tell you whether Flentique covers them. If it does not, we will say so.

A useful first call usually covers three things: which filings you are on the hook for this year, how your books are kept today, and who needs access once the records move across. From there you get a straight answer on fit, and a short plan for bringing the first set of accounts onto the platform.

Bring to the call

  • Your UEN and registered entity name
  • Which GST and corporate tax filings are due
  • How many entities and who needs access
  • Where your books sit today

Phone +65 6246 6837, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Singapore time.

Questions we get about Flentique

Is Flentique a Singapore company?

Yes. Flentique operates from Singapore and provides local phone and email support.

Does Flentique replace my accountant?

No. Flentique is accounting software. Your accountant keeps professional judgement and sign-off, and can work inside the platform with scoped access.

How does Flentique differ from global platforms?

Singapore compliance workflows, including GST reporting, InvoiceNow, CorpPass access and IRAS seamless filing, are native to the platform rather than added through localisation.

Can my accountant work inside the platform?

Yes. Access is scoped by role, so an external accountant or corporate secretary can see what the engagement needs without holding the credentials that transmit your filings.

What if the platform does not cover my obligations?

We will tell you on the first call. Companies with heavy inventory, manufacturing or multi-country operations often need an ERP, and moving a year of transactions to the wrong system costs more than saying no early.
